Day (01)  Arrive in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu

· This is the first day of your tour, we would receive you from  Paro and transfer to Bhutan’s capital city of Thimphu, about an hour and a half away. Spend the day visit the grand Tashicho Dzong, which overlooks the city. The roads in the country are fabulous and mostly winding since its mountainous terrain.After, make your way to the giant golden Great Buddha Dordenma statue, where you’ll watch the sun go down over the valley below.

· The rest of the day / night free.

· Accommodation at the hotel.

 

Day (02)  Thimpu to Punakha

· Early morning after breakfast start tour around Thimpu valley visiting Trashichhoedzong – nice medieval fortress and houses Monastery Government office and Kings Throne room.

· Later also toured the National Library – View of the ancient collection of Buddhist texts and Manuscripts, School of Arts and Crafts to see thangkha paintings, textiles and museum of popular heritage.

· Afternoon tour of the Emporium Crafts – hand knitted and handicraft products, Memorial Chorten. Late afternoon leave by car to Punakha crossing over Dochula Pass – 3080m.

· At the hotel to spend the night.

 

Day (03)  Punakha to Paro through Wangduephodrang

· On  arrival morning after breakfast in hotel visit Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of two rivers Pho Chuu and Mo Chhu in 1637. Later by car through Paro Dzong visit the Wangdiphodrang and the market

· The Wangdiphodrang region is famous for bamboo, slate and stone sculptures. After lunch departure to Paro with a brief stop at the Dochula Pass.

· En route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, currently houses the School of Buddhist Studies.

· Accommodation at the hotel.

 

Day (04)  Paro

· After breakfast on the hotel license for an excursion to Taktsang monastery, famous among the monasteries of Bhutan. The legend says that Guru Rinpoche came here riding a tigress and meditated in this monastery.

· Therefore, also known as ” Tiger’s Nest “. In the afternoon visit of the national museum of Ta Dzong – Kingdom that was originally built as the clock tower, but in 1967 this watchtower was turned into the National Museum of the country.

· Museum has fascinating collection of art, paintings, Aartifacts thangkha and exquisite stamps of Bhutan. Later he goes through the trail and visit Rinpung Dzong.

· In the evening, sit down for a farewell dinner with your guide.

· Overnight stay in hotel.

 

DAY (05) Departure from Paro

· After having breakfast, check out from hotel and  Spend the last morning exploring Paro at leisure. Check out the National Museum, roam around the Rinpung Dzong, or visit the unusual Dumtse Lhakhang temple.

· Later transfer to the airport to take a continuation flight.
