Dayara Bugyal Trek – Day-Wise Itinerary (Ex Rishikesh)

Day 01: Rishikesh → Raithal (2,100 m)
Drive: 7–8 hours
Leave Rishikesh early and travel along the Ganga and Bhagirathi rivers.
Pass through Chamba, Uttarkashi, and smaller Himalayan villages.
Reach Raithal, the official base village for the Dayara Bugyal Trek.
Evening acclimatization walk and briefing.
Overnight stay in Raithal (homestay/guesthouse).
Day 02: Raithal → Gui / Goi Campsite (2,900 m)
Trek: 4–5 km | 3–4 hours
Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through oak, rhododendron, and maple forests.
The trail offers mountain views and peaceful forest ambience.
Reach the picturesque Gui campsite, known for its forest clearing and mountain backdrop.
Spend the evening enjoying sunset views and acclimatization.
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 03: Gui → Dayara Bugyal (3,650 m) → Gui
Trek: 8–10 km round trip | 5–6 hours
Start early for a steady climb toward the alpine meadow.
Upon reaching Dayara Bugyal, witness vast rolling grasslands and wide Himalayan panoramas.
Views include Bandarpunch, Black Peak, Srikanth, and Gangotri range.
Spend time exploring the meadows and clicking photographs.
Return to Gui campsite for the night.
Overnight stay in tents.
Day 04: Gui → Raithal → Uttarkashi – Rishikesh
Trek: 4–5 km | 2–3 hours
Descend back to Raithal village through forest trails.
Continue your drive directly towards Rishikesh.
