Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath (1,870 m)
Drive: 8 to 9 hours
Start early and drive through Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag.
Enjoy views of river confluences, forested hills and winding Himalayan roads.
Arrive in Joshimath, the gateway to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
Evening trek briefing and rest.
Overnight: Joshimath
Day 2: Joshimath → Govindghat → Pulna → Ghangaria (2,925 m)
Drive: Joshimath to Govindghat (1 hour) + Pulna (10–15 minutes)
Trek: 9 km | 5 to 6 hours
Begin your trek along the Pushpawati River.
Walk past small villages, forest stretches and gentle ascents.
Reach Ghangaria, the base for Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
Light acclimatization walk in the evening.
Overnight: Ghangaria
Day 3: Ghangaria → Valley of Flowers → Ghangaria
Trek: 8–10 km round trip | 5 to 6 hours
Enter the UNESCO World Heritage Site Valley of Flowers National Park.
Explore meadows filled with alpine flowers: blue poppy, Brahma kamal, Himalayan bellflowers, geraniums and more.
Enjoy views of streams, waterfalls, snow-covered ridges and the Pushpawati riverbed.
Explore the valley up to the river-crossing area.
Overnight: Ghangaria
Day 4: Ghangaria → Pulna → Govindghat → Joshimath / Auli
Trek: 9 km | 4 to 5 hours
Descend to Pulna and drive to Govindghat.
Continue onward to Joshimath or Auli for a more scenic stay.
Evening free for a local walk or relaxation.
Overnight: Joshimath or Auli
Day 5: Joshimath to Rishikesh
Drive: 8 to 9 hours
Drive through river valleys and mountain roads.
Reach Rishikesh by evening and conclude your trek.
